RELAC Update: 10:28am Sunday 5/29
I spoke with Mike Coleman at the plant and had an email exchange with the head of Aqua Virginia in Richmond. At 11:30 last night a pump failed, which blew out some control switches which are now being repaired. One chiller has been restarted and they say we should start to notice some cooling by 1:00 this afternoon.

Several residents have reported that there are grinding noises and vibrations coming from the RELAC plant, similar to what happened before the pump failure last month. I have notified Greg Odell at Aqua VA in Richmond but have not heard back. Hopefully this is not a precursor of another breakdown.
